Sierra Summit Expeditions – Mexico Adventure Retreat Terms and Conditions
Reservation Process
By reserving a spot on the Mexico Adventure Retreat with Sierra Summit Expeditions, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
A deposit of $500 (Five Hundred U.S. Dollars) is required to secure your reservation.
Reservation deposits are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the cancellation policy.
Payment Terms
The remaining balance must be paid according to the following schedule:
Deposit: $500 due at reservation
First Payment: $1,000 due by June 30, 2025
Second Payment: $1,000 due by September 30, 2025
Final Payment: $999 due by October 30, 2025
If booking after a scheduled payment date, all amounts due to date must be paid at the time of reservation.
Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation without refund.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made on or before September 30, 2025: Full refund of all amounts paid, minus the $500 deposit.
Cancellations made October 1 – October 31, 2025: Refund of all amounts paid, minus the $500 deposit and any non-refundable costs already incurred.
Cancellations made after October 31, 2025: No refunds.
If Sierra Summit Expeditions cancels the trip, you will be offered alternate dates or a full refund.
Participant Responsibilities
Participants must:
Ensure they meet the physical requirements for activities like hiking, kayaking, and zip lining.
Disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions in advance.
Purchase appropriate travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and evacuations.
⚠️ Important: Emergency evacuation (such as helicopter evacuation) can cost up to $50,000 or more. We recommend reviewing your insurance coverage or purchasing short-term coverage through:
Trip Modifications
We reserve the right to adjust the itinerary, activities, or accommodations due to weather, safety, or logistical needs.
Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
Liability Waiver
Participants understand and accept the inherent risks associated with outdoor adventure activities.
By joining the Mexico Adventure Retreat, you agree to release Sierra Summit Expeditions, its guides, and partners from liability for injuries, loss, or damages.
A formal waiver will be sent separately and must be signed prior to participation.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as agreed upon by both parties.
