Snowshoe Adventure (Tahoe National Forest)

What to expect:

  • A multi-day wilderness adventure!

What we provide:

  • Backpacking pack,

  • Sleeping bag,

  • Sleeping pad,

  • Tent,

  • Headlamp,

  • Meals,

  • Trekking poles

  • Permits

What you’ll need to bring:

  • Outdoor-appropriate clothing (layers, minimal cotton), hiking boots, socks, fishing license, fishing pole, hat, sunscreen, chapstick, water bottle. Full listing of suggested and optional items to be provide during onboarding.

  • A complete list of recommended items can be found on each trips linked page

  • Consistent with the guiding industry, tips are highly encouraged. Therefore, we suggest bringing cash for this, (and if you want to purchase any swag after the trip). If you don’t bring cash, we can provide a digital pay link after the trip for swag and tip though!

2-Day Trip Itinerary

Day 1:

  • 8:00-9:00 AM: Meet at the trailhead

  • Morning:

    • Get familiarized with gear and go over safety protocols

    • Approximately 1-4 hours of hiking, depending on group/trip

  • Afternoon:

    • Set up camp

    • Activities (rest, meditation, day hiking, photography, fishing, swimming, gathering wood, etc.)

  • Evening:

    • Fire (as allowed) and Dinner

Day 2:

  • Morning:

    • AM free time for rest, meditation, photography, fishing, etc.)

    • Breakfast

    • Guided stretching (as requested)

    • Break down camp

    • Approximately 1-4 hours of hiking back to trailhead

    • AM time for fishing

    • Breakfast

    • Guided stretching (if requested)

    • Day hike (with light packs)

  • Evening:

    • Dinner

Day 3:

  • Morning:

    • AM free time for rest, meditation, photography, fishing, etc.)

    • Breakfast

    • Guided stretching (as requested)

    • Break down camp

    • Approximately 1-4 hours of hiking back to trailhead

Additionally, we offer Search and Rescue (SAR) insurance through Garmin, for $100 per trip. This can cover up $100,000 for things your normal insurance may not cover, helicopter evacuation and other emergency evacuations. Please message us for further information.
